Afyonkarahisar is hosting major motorsport and music events, including the MXGP Turkey World Motocross Championship and the NG Afyon Motofest.

The official opening ceremony for the MXGP Turkey was held at the Afyonkarahisar Motor Sports Center, attended by international federation representatives, local officials, and athletes from around the world.
