Afyonkarahisar to host 8th International GastroAfyon Festival

The 8th International GastroAfyon Tourism and Flavor Festival is scheduled to take place on October 2-4, 2026, at the Afyonkarahisar Motor Sports Center Festival Area. The event highlights the gastronomy identity of Afyonkarahisar, a member of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, under the theme ‘Memory of Flavor Anatolia’.

Sinnada Resort & Thermaland is providing multi-faceted support to the festival, serving as the accommodation for guests and hosting the special gala night. The resort will also host a fashion show by designer Fırat Neziroğlu titled ‘Anadoludakiler: The Timeless Journey of Felt’.

The festival will feature 53 chefs and guests from 21 countries, alongside hundreds of culinary professionals from across Turkey. Activities include 175 stands, workshops, tastings, panels, and competitions. Additionally, the ‘Anadoludakiler Market’ will open simultaneously, a project coordinated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology to promote local Anatolian production, agricultural heritage, and traditional crafts.
