Afzal Ansari hospitalized in Lucknow due to sudden illness

Afzal Ansari, the Samajwadi Party Member of Parliament representing Ghazipur, was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Lucknow late Friday night after his health deteriorated.

According to medical reports, Ansari was experiencing abdominal pain and continuous vomiting. Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Medical Director at Medanta, stated that the MP was admitted to the Gastro Medicine department around midnight due to dehydration. Medical staff have conducted blood tests and ultrasounds, and a formal medical bulletin will be released once all test results are available.

Abbas Ansari, a Member of the Legislative Assembly from Mau Sadar and the MP’s nephew, shared the news on social media, requesting prayers for his uncle’s quick recovery. Afzal Ansari is a prominent political figure in the Purvanchal region, having served multiple terms as an MLA and MP across various political parties before joining the Samajwadi Party.
