Agadir Municipal Council approves 2027 budget

The Agadir Municipal Council has approved the 2027 budget as part of its 2022-2027 action program. The budget aims to strengthen the city's financial stability by increasing revenue and controlling operating expenses to support self-financing and investment.

Operating revenues for 2027 are projected to reach 850 million dirhams, a 7.46% increase from 2026. Operating expenses are expected to be approximately 571.7 million dirhams, representing a 5.68% increase. This growth is expected to generate an estimated surplus of 278.3 million dirhams, which will be allocated to the equipment budget.

Between 2022 and 2025, the municipality saw significant financial growth, with operating revenues rising from 514.6 million dirhams to 818.4 million dirhams. The 2027 equipment budget includes 170 million dirhams dedicated to principal debt repayment.
