Agadir police arrest Swedish national wanted by Interpol

Moroccan judicial police in Agadir arrested a 22-year-old Swedish national on Tuesday, October 13, following intelligence provided by the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance. The suspect was located and apprehended in the Talborjt neighborhood.

A check against Interpol databases revealed that the individual is the subject of an international Red Notice issued by Swedish judicial authorities. The suspect is wanted for involvement in drug trafficking, attempted murder, and participation in criminal gang activities.

Following instructions from the competent public prosecution, the suspect is undergoing extradition procedures. The National Interpol Bureau in Rabat has been tasked with notifying Swedish counterparts regarding the arrest to facilitate the legal transfer of the individual to his home country.
