Agartala airport security detains four suspected Bangladeshi nationals and an Indian handler

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala detained four suspected Bangladeshi nationals and an Indian handler during routine surveillance.

According to security sources, the group was scheduled to travel from Agartala to Kolkata via an IndiGo flight. Upon arrival in Kolkata, the passengers intended to split into two groups, with three traveling to Delhi and one traveling to Bengaluru.

Verification conducted in coordination with the Tripura Police revealed that the Indian national was allegedly acting as a handler for the four suspected Bangladeshi nationals. All five individuals have been handed over to the local Airport Police Station for further legal action and investigation.
