British Columbia lottery winners claim multiple large prizes

Several residents in British Columbia have recently secured significant lottery winnings. In Agassiz, a second million-dollar ticket has been sold within a two-month period. A recent Lotto 6/49 winner, Seble G. of Vancouver, purchased a winning ticket at a Canco station in late September and intends to use the windfall toward a home purchase.

In Shawnigan Lake, resident Dylan S. won a $100,000 MAXPLUS prize from the October 13 Lotto Max draw after purchasing a ticket at Mason’s Store. Similarly, Noah F. from Kamloops won a $500,000 Extra prize from the October 16 Lotto Max draw, with the winning ticket purchased at a Safeway on Fortune Drive.

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) reported that in 2026, players have redeemed more than $44 million in Extra winnings and over $145 million from Lotto Max.
