Agata Passent reflects on her mother Agnieszka Osiecka

Passent discussed the decision of her mother, the renowned poet Agnieszka Osiecka, to leave her family following her parents' separation.

Passent noted that while her mother expressed love, she struggled with the practical aspects of caregiving, whereas her father, journalist Daniel Passent, embraced the role of a parent. Passent stated that she understands her mother’s choice to prioritize her own path, noting that staying with her father allowed her to avoid the resentment often felt by children of broken homes.
