Agatha Christie’s ‘The Mousetrap’ announces 75th anniversary UK tour

Agatha Christie’s ‘The Mousetrap’, the world’s longest-running play, is expanding its reach through new productions and a major anniversary tour.

Producer Brian Fenty has announced the principal cast for a 75th anniversary UK and Ireland tour. The production is scheduled to open at The Alexandra in Birmingham on September 3, 2026, before visiting more than 25 venues through 2027. The tour cast includes Emily Laing, Jack Hardwick, Thomas Barrett, Clare Duffy, James Peake, Alfie Richards, Nicholas Bailey, and Susan Penhaligon, under the direction of Hannah Chissick.

In a separate production, the Riverside Center for the Performing Arts is currently presenting the murder mystery, directed by Andrew Foote. This production features a cast including Ben Ribler, Mia Gomez Montero, Kevin Cleary, John Hollinger, Kathy Halenda, Sara Dabney Tisdale, Brent Deekens, and Jacob Cole.
