AGCO reports Q3 2026 revenue miss amid weak industry demand

Agricultural machinery manufacturer AGCO reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $2.26 billion, falling 8.6% year-on-year and missing analyst consensus estimates of $2.33 billion. Despite the revenue shortfall, the company’s non-GAAP adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $1.05 exceeded analyst expectations of $0.86 by 21.5%.

CEO Eric Hansotia attributed the results to the weakest global industry demand environment in over a decade, citing elevated input costs and uncertainty in commodity and trade markets. In response to these conditions, AGCO lowered its full-year revenue guidance to a midpoint of $9.9 billion, down from a previous guidance of $10.15 billion. The company also reported a free cash flow of -$488.8 million, compared to $2.1 million in the same quarter the previous year.
