Agensi Rumah Tangga film set for September release

The comedy-drama film ‘Agensi Rumah Tangga’, directed by Naya Anindita, is scheduled for release in Indonesian cinemas on September 10, 2026. Produced by Star Vision, the film is an adaptation of a best-selling novel by Almira Bastari.

Starring Enzy Storia as Katia and Afgan as Kafka, a famous musician, the story explores the emotional family drama and romantic connections between the leads. A central element of the film is the portrayal of eleven domestic workers (ART), primarily women, highlighting their struggles to support their families. To provide comedic relief, the production features a collaboration of several Indonesian female comedians, including Ummi Quary, Musdalifah Basri, and Nury Zhafira.

Director Naya Anindita stated that she aimed to provide fair comedic portions for each of the eleven characters through individual character research. Additionally, Afgan has contributed to the film by creating an original soundtrack alongside Rian and Kamga.
