Campo Grande advances tourism, conservation, and technology initiatives
Campo Grande is advancing several municipal initiatives focused on tourism, environmental conservation, and technology.
The Municipal Tourism Council (Comtur) has inaugurated a new term for the 2026/2028 biennium. The council consists of 16 entities, split equally between government bodies and civil society organizations, to facilitate dialogue regarding the city's tourism development.
In environmental efforts, the city will host the ConservAção MS and the Tourism and Conservation Forum from September 29 to October 1. Organized by the Instituto Conservação Brasil (ICB), the event aims to discuss biodiversity, climate change, and sustainable tourism, leveraging the region's diverse biomes including the Pantanal and Cerrado.
Additionally, the municipal agency Agetec will host the first CG Tech Day on October 16 at the Bioparque Pantanal. This free event is designed to connect IT professionals, students, and entrepreneurs to discuss innovation and career paths in the technology sector.
