Agetran launches integrated mobility project in Campo Grande

Agetran, the Municipal Agency for Transport and Traffic, has launched the ‘Agetran 360º’ project in Campo Grande. The initiative aims to increase the agency's presence in neighborhoods through integrated actions focused on mobility, safety, and accessibility.

The project will operate in 30-day cycles across the city's seven urban regions. Each cycle begins with a diagnostic week to analyze data, heat maps, and local demands. This is followed by a task force to implement improvements, including revitalizing traffic signage, maintaining traffic lights, upgrading bus stops, and enhancing accessibility.

Mayor Adriane Lopes stated that the project seeks to move the agency out of the office and closer to the population, noting that Campo Grande has a high vehicle-to-person ratio. The program will utilize existing resources and personnel to coordinate efforts between mobility planning, transport, and traffic departments.
