Agglomération Provence verte secures €1 million for waste sorting

The Agglomération Provence verte has entered into a one-million-euro partnership with Citeo, a recycling-focused company, to enhance waste sorting and collection outside of the home. The agreement was formalized during the Foire de Brignoles in the presence of Agglomération President Didier Bremond and Citeo Regional Director Christine Leuthy.

The funding, obtained through successful project calls, is designated to improve waste sorting and collection across the Var territory. The initiative aims to deploy solutions in public spaces, businesses, and public venues to capture recyclable materials that are currently lost to standard waste streams. This investment is part of a broader strategy to promote the circular economy and improve local resource management.
