AGI Bar, a unique establishment located in Zhongguancun, China, has become a social media phenomenon by offering free, unlimited DeepSeek AI tokens to its customers. For a signature drink priced at just 9.9 yuan, patrons can access high-level AI capabilities to assist with tasks such as coding or problem-solving without monthly subscription fees.

Founded by tech engineer Song De, the bar serves as a networking hub for investors, engineers, and students from nearby institutions like Tsinghua University. The concept draws a parallel between the “distillation” of alcohol and the distillation of knowledge through human interaction.

Despite facing significant operational costs due to its low-cost service model, the business is expanding, with a new branch recently opened in Shanghai. Song De also utilizes AI to automate inventory and management, with future plans to introduce humanoid robots for service.
