Dell and Uber see market volatility amid AI trends and strategic shifts

Dell Technologies is seeing mixed market activity. Susquehanna has reiterated a positive rating with a $700 price target, citing growing demand for AI inferencing as a primary catalyst for the company’s server business. Analysts expect traditional server revenue to potentially double by fiscal 2027.

However, Dell shares recently fell 3.5% following reports of insider selling. Transactions included sales by Director Egon Durban, Director Lynn Vojvodich Radakovich, and Silver Lake Partners IV, L.P., all conducted under various trading plans or direct sales.

Separately, Uber Technologies shares declined 2.2%. While investor Bill Ackman reportedly holds a significant stake in the company, Uber is navigating several strategic moves, including a $1.25 billion robotaxi partnership with Rivian and a reported $14.8 billion tender offer for Delivery Hero’s food-delivery operations.
