Agia Paraskevi Church restoration progresses in Florina

The Holy Metropolis of Florina, Prespes and Eordaea has reported steady progress in the restoration of the Holy Church of Agia Paraskevi in Florina. During September 2026, several critical technical interventions were carried out to strengthen the structure and ensure its full restoration.

Key technical works included the completion of necessary perforations for installing mesh and connecting elements within the northern bell tower, a process that is also continuing on the interior sides of the church. Additionally, all required materials were procured according to the project study, and debris from demolitions was removed using mechanical means. Work is also underway to apply cement plaster and gunite to the exterior of the northern bell tower to complete its structural reinforcement.

Financial support from the faithful remains vital to the project. In September, a total of 5,850 euros was collected through donations from various contributors across the Holy Metropolis.
