AgiBot humanoid robots to enter Portugal via SDATA AI partnership

SDATA AI has established a strategic partnership to become the official distributor of AgiBot’s humanoid robots in Portugal. The Shanghai-based technology company offers a diverse portfolio including the A-Series for human interaction, the X-Series compact models for coordinated movement and voice, and the G-Series wheeled humanoids designed for industrial logistics and assembly.

These robots utilize advanced cognitive architectures incorporating computer vision, reinforcement learning, LiDAR sensors, and 360-degree panoramic cameras to perform tasks ranging from autonomous navigation to precision manipulation. AgiBot estimates the potential market for this technology in Portugal could exceed 10 billion euros over the next 20 years.

In the immediate term, between 60 and 100 humanoid robots are expected to be deployed in Portugal within a year, primarily targeting the industry, logistics, hospitality, and service sectors. Unlike traditional robots that repeat fixed sequences, these machines use artificial intelligence to learn and adapt to new tasks, similar to human learning processes.
