Agibot leads global humanoid robot shipments in H1 2026

According to recent IDC market reports, global humanoid robot shipments reached nearly 25,000 units in the first half of 2026, representing a 432.1% year-on-year increase. The market size exceeded $740 million, growing by 322.7%.

China has emerged as the primary driver of this growth, accounting for approximately 77.9% of global shipments with over 19,000 units. Chinese manufacturers represent more than 95% of the global market share, supported by robust policy, complete supply chains, and integrated AI models.

Agibot (智元創新) led the global market during this period, shipping over 8,600 units and capturing roughly 35% of the global market. Within China, Agibot holds a market share exceeding 45%. The company has already deployed robots in various sectors, including industrial manufacturing, retail, and tourism, such as at Chimelong Spaceship Theme Park.

The industry is transitioning from technical verification to commercial application. While research and education previously dominated, usage is expanding into automotive manufacturing, electronics, aerospace, logistics, and consumer companionship. IDC predicts global shipments will surpass 750,000 units by 2030.
