Agirc-Arrco launches support services for French retirees over 75

The Agirc-Arrco retirement scheme has introduced two new assistance programmes for beneficiaries aged 75 and older. The “Sortir Plus” service provides funded accompaniment for daily outings such as shopping, medical appointments or leisure activities, using pre‑financed CESU vouchers to pay an approved helper. A second offering, temporary home assistance, can be requested after hospitalisation, during a caregiver’s illness or when a senior experiences a short‑term loss of capacity; it funds tasks like house‑keeping, meal preparation and simple administrative help. Both programmes are available to all Agirc‑Arrco retirees without income‑means testing and aim to preserve autonomy, reduce isolation and support staying at home.
