Agirc-Arrco prepares for 2026 pension revaluation and caregiver support initiatives
Agirc-Arrco, the French complementary pension scheme, is entering a new cycle of discussions regarding the pension revaluation scheduled for November 1, 2026. Based on the 2023 national interprofessional agreement, the reference value for this increase is estimated at 1.6%, following inflation forecasts. The theoretical range for the revaluation is expected to fall between 1.2% and 2%, though the final decision will be announced on October 14, 2026.
Separately, Agirc-Arrco is launching a series of approximately 80 local events across France between September 30 and October 16 to support caregivers. These initiatives, including forums and workshops, aim to provide information and resources to the estimated 11 million people in France who regularly assist vulnerable relatives, addressing a gap where many caregivers report a lack of access to support services.
