Agirc‑Arrco offers free outreach and home‑help services to French retirees aged 75 and over

The French supplementary pension fund Agirc‑Arrco has made several free or low‑cost services available to retirees aged 75 years and older. The “Sortir Plus” scheme provides prepaid CESU vouchers that allow seniors to be accompanied for everyday trips such as shopping, medical appointments or a walk, with an annual ceiling that has risen to €450 in 2026. A temporary home‑help assistance offers up to 10 hours of support over six weeks for tasks like cleaning, meal preparation or administrative duties after hospitalization, illness of a caregiver or a brief period of fatigue. A third offer, the “Bien chez moi” housing diagnostic, sends an accredited ergonomist to assess fall risks and suggest adaptations, with only a €15 contribution from the retiree. The services are open to all Agirc‑Arrco pensioners aged 75 + without any means test and without requiring existing regular home‑care, and can be requested through a single dedicated telephone number.
