Agleison Alexandrino Correia seeks seat in Acre Legislative Assembly

Lieutenant Colonel Agleison Alexandrino Correia of the Acre Military Police (PM-AC) has announced his candidacy for a seat in the Legislative Assembly of the State of Acre (Aleac).

Correia, who joined the PM-AC as a soldier in 2000, cited his two-decade career and his role in implementing the military school model in Acre as primary motivations for his political transition. He was instrumental in the 2017 legislation that established these schools through a partnership between the State Secretariat of Education and the Military Police.

He previously served as the director of Colégio Militar Tiradentes starting in March 2018, where he managed the integration of military discipline and uniforms into the educational routine.
