AGlobe Investimentos to acquire control of Avibras Aeroco

AGlobe Investimentos, the personal investment vehicle of businessmen Joesley and Wesley Batista, has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Avibras Aeroco. The company, currently controlled by the Brasil Crédito fund, holds the strategic assets, industrial facilities, and technological portfolio of the traditional Brazilian defense and aerospace manufacturer, Avibras Indústria Aeroespacial.

The transaction has been notified to the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade) and remains subject to regulatory approval and other closing conditions. While the transaction value was not disclosed, the acquisition marks a significant entry for the Batista brothers into the national defense and aerospace sectors.

Avibras Aeroco was established in October 2025 during the reorganization of the original Avibras, which remains in judicial recovery. This new entity holds the intellectual property and technological programs, while the previous corporate structure retains the liabilities associated with the judicial recovery process. AGlobe Investimentos operates independently from the J&F S.A. holding company.
