AGMER Entre Ríos launches mobile school to highlight teacher demands

The Asociación Gremial del Magisterio de Entre Ríos (AGMER) has launched the ‘Escuela Itinerante Entrerriana’ in Paraná. This initiative is designed to travel through all 17 departments of the Entre Ríos province to highlight the current situation of the teaching profession and strengthen the defense of public education.

The mobile school aims to create a space for dialogue between teachers, students, families, and local communities. Key issues to be addressed include teacher salary recovery, working conditions, school infrastructure, connectivity, and the impact of budget cuts on the public education system.

Representatives from CTERA and AMSAFE joined AGMER officials to support the launch, emphasizing the need for dignified wages and policies that guarantee the social right to education. The project seeks to reconnect the teaching workforce with the specific territorial needs of each community.
