Agnieszka Gozdyra clashes with politicians over divorce veto

Journalist Agnieszka Gozdyra was involved in a heated confrontation during a Polsat News broadcast of ‘Debata Gozdyry’. The dispute with political guests centered on President Karol Nawrocki’s veto regarding proposed changes to divorce procedures, specifically those aimed at simplifying divorces for couples without children.

Gozdyra criticized representatives of the right-wing Law and Justice party, accusing them of hypocrisy regarding marriage sanctity while noting instances of divorce within their own political circles. During the exchange, Marzena Machałek from the Rozwój Plus Association attempted to clarify that the veto does not constitute a ban on divorce, but the discussion remained tense.

Separately, Gozdyra has addressed the increasing wave of online hate directed at her. After receiving offensive social media comments, the journalist announced she would pursue legal action, stating she has documented evidence and intends to involve lawyers and the police to seek damages.
