Agnieszka Osiecka: Concert to celebrate 90th anniversary in Kamienna Góra

A concert titled ‘Zielono Mi… 90. urodziny Agnieszki Osieckiej’ will be held on October 23 at the Cultural Center in Kamienna Góra to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the birth of Agnieszka Osiecka. The event, organized by Scena pod Regałem, will feature a musical journey through her diverse repertoire, ranging from humorous tracks to melancholic songs about love and loneliness.

Osiecka was one of the most significant lyricists in the history of Polish song, having written approximately 2,000 songs. Her work, which includes hits such as ‘Małgośka’, ‘Niech żyje bal’, and ‘Okularnicy’, has been performed by major artists like Maryla Rodowicz and Sława Przybylska. Her lyrics often addressed social themes and the absurdities of the PRL era, earning them the description of ‘civic lyricism’.
