Agnone receives 1.1 million euros to restore Palazzo Nuonno
The Italian Ministry of Culture has approved 1.1 million euros in funding for the restoration of Palazzo Nuonno in Agnone. The project, part of the “Cultural and social regeneration of historic villages” initiative, aims to transform the historic building into a civic museum.
The funding follows the municipality's successful acquisition of the property in 2025. Once renovated, the site will serve to highlight local traditions and regional characteristics. Agnone was recently recognized as one of ten finalists for the title of Italian Capital of Culture.
