Agnone to host Casearia 2026 national cheese fair

The Casearia 2026 national cheese fair will take place in Agnone, Italy, from August 28 to 30. The event is expected to host over 70 exhibitors and more than 200 dairy productions from across Italy.

Coldiretti Molise will participate with a dedicated stand managed by women entrepreneurs and young farmers under 40. Their program includes workshops on cheese production, tastings of regional products such as honey, oil, and almonds, and a focus on healthy nutrition through a “colazione contadina” (peasant breakfast) event.

Representing the Abruzzo region, the fair will feature the ancient Pecorino di Farindola, protected by its specific consortium. Other notable participants include Azienda Agricola Garofalo Patrizia, which showcases an innovative donkey milk production project for cosmetic use. The three-day event will include masterclasses, show cooking, and guided tastings.
