Agoda and NTT DATA implement renewable energy solutions in Singapore
Digital travel platform Agoda has announced that the electricity used by its eligible IT infrastructure at NTT Global Data Centers’ Singapore facility is now matched with 100% locally generated renewable energy certificates. This initiative is part of a collaboration with NTT DATA to improve the energy efficiency of Agoda’s Singapore-based IT operations.
Agoda reported significant reductions in energy consumption based on internal 2026 measurements. Through dynamic power management, the company lowered energy use for eligible workloads by up to 16%. Additionally, Agoda reduced cooling-related energy use by approximately 40% per eligible server by adjusting fan speeds. NTT Global Data Centers supports these efforts through facility-level airflow and cooling management at its Singapore site, which holds BCA Green Mark Platinum and LEED Gold certifications.
