AGON announces AGP257FT gaming monitor with 1050Hz overclocking

AGON, the gaming monitor brand under AOC, has announced the AGP257FT, a high-performance esports monitor featuring a native 1000 Hz refresh rate that can be overclocked to 1050 Hz. Designed for professional competitors, the 24.5-inch Full HD display utilizes an Oxide Fast IPS panel to overcome traditional LCD voltage response limitations.

The monitor offers an ultra-fast 0.1 ms MPRT response time and includes Motion Blur Reduction Plus (MBR+) technology to enhance clarity during rapid movements. It is also compatible with NVIDIA G-SYNC to reduce screen tearing and supports VESA DisplayHDR 400 for improved brightness.

To support long gaming sessions, the AGP257FT incorporates hardware-based low blue light technology and TÜV Rheinland-certified circular polarization to reduce eye fatigue and glare. The device includes connectivity options such as HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1, along with a USB hub. The product is expected to reach European markets in the first quarter of 2027.
