Agoratorio project launches in Rossano and Corigliano Scalo
The “Agoratorio – Spazi per crescere insieme” project has launched in the Rossano and Corigliano Scalo areas of the Archdiocese of Rossano-Cariati. Promoted by SINGA ETS and supported by the Italian Department for Sport, the initiative ranked among the top ten proposals in Italy and first in Calabria.
The program consists of two phases. From November to December 2026, a free training phase will be held both in-person and online for at least 40 operators and volunteers, including catechists, educators, and young adults. Training will cover integrated sports, educational e-sports, digital citizenship, job skills, social inclusion, and community storytelling. Participants who complete the course will receive a certificate to enhance their professional resumes.
From January to April 2027, the project will move into a practical phase targeting at least 80 adolescents aged 11 to 17. Activities will include digital workshops and educational sports. The project will operate out of two main hubs: the Cathedral of Maria Santissima Achiropita in Rossano Centro Storico and the San Giovanni XXIII Parish in Corigliano Scalo.
