Agostina Hein recognized by Olympic accounts for pandemic training
The official Olympic Games social media accounts, in collaboration with World Aquatics, have praised Argentine swimmer Agostina Hein for her dedication during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hein utilized an improvised pool and harness to maintain her training when access to Olympic-sized facilities was restricted.
The 18-year-old swimmer, who was the youngest member of the delegation at the Paris 2024 Games, has achieved significant success, including gold medals at the Junior Pan American Games and the Junior World Aquatics Championships. Her recent performances include winning gold in the 400m individual medley and silver in the 800m at the 2025 Junior World Championships.
