Agostina Vega femicide case: Ford Ka owner detained in Córdoba
Soledad Andreani, the owner of a black Ford Ka, was arrested in Córdoba on charges of aggravated concealment, becoming the third person detained in the investigation of 14‑year‑old Agostina Vega's femicide. Prosecutors allege the vehicle was used to transport Vega's body to the site where it was found on 30 May in Ampliación Ferreyra.
Andreani, who had previously testified as a witness, expressed remorse for lending the car to the main suspect, Claudio Barrelier. The case also includes the earlier arrests of Barrelier and Osvaldo Fassetta, both charged with aggravated concealment. Security‑camera footage captured the car’s route, which investigators consider crucial for reconstructing the crime.
The investigation continues under the direction of prosecutor Raúl Garzón, with authorities examining possible additional involvement by those close to Barrelier.
