AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG launches apprenticeship program for 173 trainees

On 1 August and 1 September 2026, AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG will begin training 173 young people in its agribusiness group. Of the new apprentices, 140 have chosen commercial‑technical tracks while 33 will follow a commercial path in agriculture and services. The apprenticeship portfolio spans roles such as mechatronics for land and construction machinery, wholesale and foreign trade merchants, and process technologists for milling and grain operations.

The company aims to train a total of 690 trainees across 19 occupations by 2026, including dual‑study programmes, and currently maintains a 10 percent apprenticeship quota. CEO Dr Dirk Köckler emphasized that “well‑trained professionals are the basis for our future.” AGRAVIS employs about 7 000 staff, generates over €8.4 billion in revenue and operates more than 400 sites, primarily in Germany, with subsidiaries in over 20 countries and exports to more than 100 nations. The headquarters are in Münster, Germany.
