Agreste Pernambucano opens registrations for 3rd September Exhibition

The 3rd edition of the Exposição de Setembro and the Creative Economy Fair has opened registrations for artists and artisans from the Agreste Pernambucano region in Brazil. The theme for this year is ‘Criar para o amanhã: Arte, território e sustentabilidade’ (Creating for tomorrow: Art, territory, and sustainability).

Selected visual artists will receive a fee of R$500.00 per work, which includes photography, sculpture, printmaking, or painting. Artisans selected for the creative economy fair will receive an incentive of R$600.00 to exhibit and sell products made from materials such as clay, wood, textiles, or recycled goods.

The event will be held in Santa Cruz do Capibaribe, integrated with the traditional festivities of Senhor Bom Jesus dos Aflitos and São Miguel. Registrations are free and must be submitted via an online form by August 29.
