AgreXa 2026 agricultural exhibition opens in Chalandritsa

The 23rd AgreXa Agricultural Exhibition officially opened in Chalandritsa, the capital of the Erymanthos Municipality. The event serves as a significant hub for the primary sector in the Achaia region, focusing on agricultural production and livestock farming.

The opening ceremony included a blessing by Bishop Chrysanthos of Kernitsi and a thematic presentation titled ‘The Bread of Life,’ which highlighted the cultural and social importance of bread and local production.

Political representatives in attendance included Spyridon Tsironis, Theodoros Bari, and various regional and local officials. Discussions at the event emphasized the need to protect national agricultural policy from external and domestic interests, strengthen support for producers, and create incentives for young people to return to rural areas.
