Agribank and Saigon Co.op sign strategic retail and finance partnership

Agribank and Saigon Co.op signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Ho Chi Minh City on August 17, 2026, to link state-owned financial services with large-scale retail distribution.

The partnership focuses on several key areas, including deposit services, account management, and domestic and international payment processing. Agribank has committed to providing credit to support Saigon Co.op’s business operations, retail chain expansion, logistics systems, and infrastructure investments. To promote cashless payments, the two entities will collaborate on installing Point of Sale (POS) terminals and optimizing cash flow management at retail locations.

Saigon Co.op will offer promotional programs, shopping incentives, and e-vouchers specifically for Agribank customers and employees. The agreement also aims to prioritize the distribution of OCOP (One Commune, One Product) and high-quality Vietnamese goods through Saigon Co.op’s network. This collaboration seeks to create a complete value chain where Agribank provides financial inputs and Saigon Co.op provides distribution outputs, supporting farmers and cooperatives in accessing capital and stable markets.
