Agribank Honors Vietnam’s War Veterans with 30 billion VND Donation

Each July, Agribank mobilises tens of thousands of staff across Vietnam to honour the country’s war veterans, fallen martyrs and their families. The bank’s outreach includes visits to nursing centres, offering gifts, and laying wreaths at veteran cemeteries. In a recent three‑province mission to Quảng Trị, Hà Tĩnh and Nghệ An, Agribank donated a total of 30 billion VND (10 billion VND per province) for social‑welfare support.

The campaign is backed by the State Bank of Vietnam, whose Governor Phạm Đức Ấn presented 300 billion VND to reinforce the tribute effort. Agribank Chairman Tô Huy Vũ also took part in the July activities, underscoring the bank’s “Bank for the Community” identity and the cultural principle of “Uống nước nhớ nguồn” – remembering one’s roots.
