Agribusiness candidates launch bids for Brazilian Chamber of Deputies

Two new candidates have formalized their bids for the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies, both centering their platforms on the agribusiness sector.

Ulisses Machado, known as Ulisses do Rodeio, is running under the Solidariedade party. Representing the interior of São Paulo, his platform focuses on the economic impact of agro-events, regional infrastructure, and logistics to support crop transport. He aims to bridge the gap between local producers and federal regulatory bodies.

Vilmar Rigo, representing the Novo party in Mato Grosso, is focusing his campaign on productive sectors, municipalism, and conservative values. His proposals include addressing high interest rates, improving storage capacity for agricultural products, and expanding energy potential through solar power. Rigo also emphasizes public security, education, and judicial reform.
