Agribusiness developments: Timac Agro launches INVOC and Grupo Faro Verde acquires CeresTolvas
Timac Agro has announced the launch of INVOC, a new range of biotechnological solutions designed to combat plant stress, at the Fruit Attraction 2026 trade fair in Spain. The product line utilizes a patented biotechnological process to produce volatile compounds from microorganisms, targeting the soil-plant-root system. The company will also sponsor the Fruit Forum and the Biofruit Congress to discuss agricultural trends and organic production.
In Argentina, Grupo Faro Verde has acquired CeresTolvas, a company with nearly 50 years of experience in grain commercialization, agro-inputs, and agricultural machinery. The integration combines Grupo Faro Verde’s production and forestry activities in Buenos Aires, Patagonia, and Uruguay with CeresTolvas’s network of 25 storage plants, 29 agronomy offices, and John Deere dealerships. The move aims to consolidate Grupo Faro Verde as an integrated player across the agricultural value chain.
