Agribusiness firms Garces Fruit and CORPFRUT achieve key international certifications

Garces Fruit, the world's largest cherry exporter, has achieved B Corp certification in Chile. The company earned a score of 88.2 points in an evaluation covering governance, workers, community, environment, and customers, exceeding the required 80 points. This certification places the company among 16 agro-industrial firms in Chile to hold this global accreditation.

In Ecuador, CORPFRUT S.A.S has maintained its BRCGS Global Standard Food Safety Issue 9 certification with an AA+ grade. This international food safety standard, recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), was awarded following an independent evaluation by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF). The certification covers critical areas including HACCP, traceability, hygiene, and food fraud prevention, strengthening the company's position with international retailers and distributors.
