Agribusiness identified as highest-paying career in Lima

The Peruvian Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) has released data via its ‘Mi Carrera’ platform regarding the highest-paying university careers in Lima. According to the report, agribusiness leads the ranking, with average monthly incomes of S/ 5,111 and potential earnings reaching up to S/ 8,100.

Other top-earning fields in Lima include statistics, systems and computer engineering, computer science, and economics, all of which show maximum monthly salaries around S/ 8,000 to S/ 8,250. These figures surpass the average earnings of medical graduates, who average S/ 4,364 per month. The data focuses on young workers between the ages of 18 and 29 within the formal labor market.
