Agricultural and livestock sectors expand in Chaco regions
In the Paraguayan Chaco, FECOPROD President Alfred Fast highlighted the region's agricultural growth potential. Fast emphasized that the future of the Chaco lies in combining agriculture and livestock production to increase productivity and profitability. He noted that agricultural expansion can occur on degraded pasture surfaces, though he warned that growth requires careful planning, infrastructure improvements, and climate risk management.
In the Argentine Chaco, a fifth shipment of goat meat, consisting of 1,265 boxes, was exported to Saudi Arabia. This initiative, supported by the PROGANO program, aims to provide small-scale producers with technical assistance, training, and access to international markets to foster rural economic growth.
