Agricultural Development Bank and University of Cape Coast deepen cooperation

The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) and the University of Cape Coast (UCC) have entered a new phase of institutional cooperation following high-level discussions between leadership from both organizations.

A UCC delegation, led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dennis Worlanyo Aheto, met with ADB PLC Managing Director Edward Ato Sarpong and Deputy Managing Director Prof. Ferdinand Ahiakpor. The talks focused on identifying practical areas for collaboration, leveraging the strengths of both academia and the financial services sector.

Key objectives of the partnership include knowledge exchange, human capital development, and the creation of innovative solutions to support Ghana’s national development. Officials from both sides emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between academic learning and the specific skills required by the industry.
