Agricultural development initiatives target rural producers in Argentina
In the Formosa province, the Center for Validation of Agricultural Technologies (CEDEVA) conducted training sessions in Laguna Naineck and Riacho He Hé to promote mango cultivation. The initiative, which has been researching mango adaptation to local conditions since 2016, aims to provide rural families with tools for productive diversification. Workshops covered essential techniques including soil preparation, planting distances, irrigation, fertilization, and the use of supports for young plants.
In the Chaco province, specifically within the El Impenetrable region, agromontane production techniques are being implemented to support indigenous communities and small-scale producers. Through the production and commercialization of agroecological vegetables, some families in the area have reportedly doubled or tripled their income. These efforts focus on community-based training and agronomic expertise to improve regional quality of life.
