Agricultural events and symposiums open for registration in Southern Brazil

Several agricultural initiatives are opening registration for upcoming events in Southern Brazil. In Paraná, the Show Rural Coopavel 2027 is accepting applications for its ‘Feira Sabores’ space, which offers 120 spots for family farmers to exhibit food and rural crafts. The event, held in Cascavel, is a major agribusiness hub that recorded R$ 7.5 billion in business during its 2026 edition.

In Rio Grande do Sul, the Expoagro Afubra 2027 is expanding its Family Agriculture Pavilion, increasing the number of stands from 222 to 232. This expansion includes ten new spaces specifically allocated to entrepreneurs from Santa Catarina and Paraná to foster regional integration.

Additionally, the State University of Rio Grande do Sul (Uergs) is hosting the V Gaucho Symposium on Organic Grains. This free online event will feature international experts from Argentina and South Africa, focusing on technological challenges, bio-inputs, and practical organic production experiences.
