Agricultural events held in Aigues-Vives and Draguignan
Local agricultural celebrations and professional showcases have taken place in the Var region of France. In Aigues-Vives, the 28th Apple, Wine, and Rice Fair brought together over sixty producers and artisans. The event featured tastings of local products such as grapes, plums, garlic, and various wines, alongside artisanal goods like cheeses, oils, and chestnuts. Highlights included a live apple pressing demonstration and the preparation of a giant compote using 250 kg of donated apples.
In Draguignan, the 3rd Agriculture Festival is scheduled for October 17. Organized in collaboration with ANEFA and the FDSEA, the event aims to bridge the gap between rural and urban populations. The festival will host approximately forty producers and features a dedicated space for employment and training. The initiative seeks to promote agricultural careers and professional training opportunities to encourage new vocations and address recruitment needs within the sector.
