Agricultural festivals held in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
Regional agricultural celebrations are taking place across the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in France.
In Saint-Clément-les-Places, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regional agricultural festival is being held on September 5 and 6. Organized by the Agriculture Jeune association and Young Farmers of the Rhône, the event expects between 6,000 and 8,000 visitors. Activities include regional plowing finals, dairy cow competitions, sheep shearing demonstrations, and a farmer's market. The event also features unique entertainment such as a cow dung lottery.
Additionally, the 805th Beaucroissant Fair will host the Isère Department at the Agrivillage site from September 11 to 13, 2026. This year, the Agrivillage area is open to the general public to showcase local products under the ‘Nos produits IS HERE’ brand. The program includes animal presentations, demonstrations of agricultural trades, and tastings of local specialties such as Saint-Marcellin cheese, Grenoble walnuts, and regional wines.
