Agricultural innovation and salon expansions highlighted in France
The Salon du Végétal 2026 featured a showcase of emerging companies and innovative solutions for the plant and agricultural sectors. Among the participants was Amoterra, a Montpellier-based company providing mycorrhizal services to regenerate biodiversity and perform fungal diagnostics for trees.
Other featured innovations included SC Solution chariot from Saint-Malo, which introduced the Akebia ergonomic trolley designed for garden centers, and the startup Pyto from Toulouse.
Separately, the Innovagri outdoor demonstration salon announced an expansion of its locations. Following editions in the Yvelines and Beauce regions, the event will move to the Hauts-de-France region in June 2027, featuring a new dedicated space for livestock farming. In June 2028, the salon is scheduled to expand further into the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region to reach new production basins.
